If you practice aromatherapy, then you may be on the lookout for Authentic Essential Oils Vendors. Well, I will not blame you. There are simply too many vendors out there that are more concerned with making some money rather than helping their customers. I am not saying that all vendors are like this. It is just that there are too many imitation oils such as perfume and fragrance oils that are branded as ‘aromatherapy oils’. This is misleading because these oils provide little to no therapeutic effects in contrast to real and best essential oils. With this, here are some tips that you can exercise so that you can learn how to find Authentic Essential Oils Vendors.
Which Essential Oils Company is Best?
Look At The Company
The first thing that you must take a look at is the company. I am not talking about the brand. In the world of aromatherapy, it is better to buy directly from people who practice them. However, if you do not have the choice and you just want to buy some oils, it is better to look at the company and see the other products that they do. If they also have perfumes or food items along the line, then it may not be wise to buy from them.
Check The Packaging
As I have said in my other articles, packaging is very important in Authentic Essential Oils. After all, the packaging can alter the elements of the oils. For example, if the oils are contained in clear bottles, then sunlight may pass through and the content of the oil may be altered. In the same way, oils with rubber droppers are also not advisable. Rubber can negatively affect the components of the oils. With this, it is better to just go for oils that are in dark, glass bottles.
Check The Pricing
Some people in the industry claim that you will get what you pay for. In this world, the price of the oil says a lot about the quality of the oil. But of course, it is better if you will do your own background check. Sometimes, the oil costs more because it is harder to extract or the plant came from another country. So be sure to check this out as well.
Check The Age
You may also need to check the age of the Authentic Essential Oils. Look for dust particles on the bottles. These oils may not turn rancid as carrier oils but their quality is affected by how long they are kept. If you notice some dust, you should quickly ask your seller about it.
Do Not Buy Oils from The Streets
And since this industry is prone to imitations and fake oils, it is very important to prevent being fooled by oils sold on the streets. This can come in different forms such as on street fairs and the likes. While there are people who are selling Authentic Essential Oils in these areas, it is still not advisable. In fact, I would rather recommend buying from an aromatherapy practitioner that really uses essential oils for his treatments.
